One of the main goals of the meeting was to expand cooperation in mechanical engineering and exchange experience. The Russian partners expressed interest in joint projects within the framework of the Union State.
During the visit to the Foundry and Mechanical Plant Division (ZLiN), guests were introduced to the company’s advanced technologies. They showed particular interest in labor organization, computerization and robotization of production, as well as in environmental safety measures implemented by major industrial enterprises.
The meeting was attended by executives of leading engineering holdings from Belarus and Russia.
The participants also discussed the prospects for cooperation between the association and Belarus’s industrial giant — «Gomselmash».
During their visit, the Russian partners familiarized themselves with the stages of combine harvester production and the company’s range of finished machinery. The discussions focused on production automation, the use of CNC machines, and improvements in painting technologies. The parties also addressed mutual component supplies and competition issues in the common market.
President of the «Rosspetsmash» Association, Konstantin Babkin, shared his impressions following the visit to the GOMSELMASH holding facilities and outlined further plans:
"I was glad to accept the invitation to visit Gomel, explore opportunities to deepen and expand our cooperation, and exchange experience. The impressions are very positive — the plant is actively developing. We can see young specialists working at the enterprise and new models being introduced. I saw prudent resource management and well-organized production processes combined with significant investment. There are plenty of topics for further discussion".
