The handover of the GOMSELMASH equipment is not just a ceremonial act, but an important practical step in the implementation of the first phase of a large-scale agricultural mechanization program in Nigeria. This phase is part of an agreed roadmap developed in 2024, which provides for the consistent introduction of modern technologies to improve the efficiency of the country's agricultural sector.
As part of the event, 10 units of GOMSELMASH GS12 PROFI grain harvesting combines were handed over, equipped with grain headers and a corn harvesting kit.
The General Director of OJSC “Gomselmash”, Alexander Novikov, personally took part in the ceremony of handover the equipment, emphasizing the strategic importance of this project for the development of the agricultural sector of Nigeria. The event was also attended by high-ranking Nigerian officials and government representatives, including the President of the country, who expressed high appreciation for the GOMSELMASH equipment and their readiness for further development of joint projects.
There are new joint initiatives ahead that will certainly lead to success and make Nigeria’s largest farm even more efficient and innovative with GOMSELMASH equipment.
