The UNI CAB is a high-comfort cab built on a universal platform with left-hand entry and excellent panoramic visibility of the working area when operating with a grass header, pickup or corn header. The pneumatically suspended seat improves operator comfort. Seat and steering column adjustments let you set a comfortable position and achieve the best results throughout the entire work shift.
The HARVEST OFFICE onboard computer information system makes the operator's work efficient and comfortable. The system allows real-time control and monitoring of the main functional units of the harvester, control of the working units, engine and transmission, progress of work and service operations, and also provides warnings and alarm notifications.
From the cab, the AUTOSHARP system automatically sharpens the chopping drum knives. AUTOSHARP improves forage chopping quality and harvester productivity, significantly reduces fuel consumption and saves your time. The number of sharpening cycles is set from the control panel in the cab.
Control of the preservative application equipment is fully integrated into the harvester's standard computer. The automatic liquid supply mode works flawlessly without the need for a mass flow sensor.
Thanks to the logical layout of all instruments and controls in the cab, harvester operation becomes a simple, intuitive process.

The FS450 features a dual air cleaning system with two air filters, allowing the engine to run at full power without the risk of overheating and contamination.
Maintenance has become even easier thanks to the built-in air system. Two independent air outlets are located on the right and left sides in the direction of travel, accessible without opening the hoods, which significantly saves the operator's time during daily machine cleaning.
The DIRECT DRIVE chopping drum drive is taken directly from the engine crankshaft. This layout ensures maximum power transmission efficiency and reduces specific energy consumption.
The universal MULTI DRUM chopping drum with knives arranged in 4 rows is specially designed for efficient cutting. The special knife angle relative to the shear bar ensures a clean diagonal cut while reducing energy costs for cutting. Thanks to their inclination angle, the knives move the crop from the edges toward the center of the drum, reducing friction of the crop against the walls of the process channel, thereby reducing wear and increasing process efficiency.
Perfect sharpening accuracy: the planetary gear motor allows automatic adjustment of the gap between the knives and the shear bar with maximum precision, guaranteeing ideal cut quality.
Well-designed geometry: the new optimized location of the shear bar on the chopping unit extends its service life and reduces maintenance costs for the unit.
The front lower feed roller is made of high-quality, durable polymer materials, which has increased the sensitivity of the metal detector sensor and eliminated false alarms, and has proven itself excellent in operation. The lower feed rollers are driven by a powerful hydraulic motor through a gearbox. This drive layout ensures confident and uninterrupted start of crop flow.
The DRUM PROTECT system with metal detector and stone detector sensors installed in the front lower roller, in an emergency, sends a signal to the electronic control unit and instantly stops the feed roller drive, protecting the process channel from damage and saving your time.
For maximum operating accuracy and safe maneuvering, the harvester is equipped with a video monitoring system. The first camera on the discharge spout allows full control of the direction of the discharged crop flow, and the second optional rear-view camera significantly facilitates machine control when reversing.
Corn silage harvesting methods currently differ significantly depending on the region and agricultural enterprise. Gomselmash responds flexibly to new trends in forage harvesting. Rotary headers cut into the corn stand, guaranteeing a perfectly clean cut at a uniform height regardless of terrain complexity.
- On-axis feeding: Stems are directed to the feed unit exclusively by their lower part along the longitudinal axis. This completely eliminates cob losses and guarantees a perfectly clean field.
- Operation in any conditions: Stable cut quality and uniform feeding are maintained even when harvesting overripe wax-ripe corn with hard stems and heavy cobs.
- Folding design from Gomselmash: The new folding header saves your time when moving between fields and makes transporting the harvester on public roads as convenient and safe as possible.
The pickup design is engineered to minimize the path of the cut crop to the feed rollers and ensure peak operating stability.
- Accurate terrain following: The pickup with gauge wheels follows the field contours perfectly. The plant root system remains undamaged and no soil gets into the forage.
- Smart reverse without extra hassle: The pickup unit is compactly located directly under the auger. When the rollers are reversed, the crop is instantly discharged back onto the ground — the harvester cleans itself and requires no manual labor.

The adapters used with the FS450 create the necessary conditions for high productivity and quality chopping: rotary headers feed corn stems precisely along the longitudinal axis of the feed unit, while pickups, thanks to their design, ensure the shortest path of the picked-up crop to the rollers.
The rotary header for coarse-stemmed crops cuts into the corn stand, cutting stems cleanly and at a uniform height. Stems are fed to the feed unit only by their lower part. This completely avoids cob losses, leaving a perfectly harvested field behind the machine. When harvesting wax-ripe corn with hard stems and cobs, cut quality and uniformity of feeding the cut crop remain stable. To improve harvester transport convenience and save your time, Gomselmash has developed a new folding header for coarse-stemmed crops.
When the FS450 operates with a pickup with gauge wheels, the field terrain is followed accurately and without damaging the plant root system. The pickup design ensures the shortest path of the crop to the feed unit, increasing pickup stability. The pickup unit is compactly located under the auger, so when the feed rollers are reversed, the crop is discharged directly onto the field. No additional cleaning is required. In addition, you can increase harvester reliability with the new pickup featuring an augerless pickup unit.
The use of grass headers with a field contour following system and cutting height adjustment on the FS450 guarantees an equally even cut. The overrunning clutch of the reel drive pulley prevents reel damage when the auger rotates in reverse.
