The FS3000 complex is made for mowing corn, sorghum, sunflower and other tall-stalked crops, mowing green crops and picking up dried, seeded and natural grasses from swaths with chopping and loading into a vehicle. When preparing silage, haylage, grass harvesting the FS3000 matches the level of self-propelled forage harvesters in terms of productivity and quality of harvested feed.

The FS3000 forage harvesting complex consists of self-propelled machine MS280 and a semi-mounted forage harvester aggregated with a set of easily replaceable adapters KPK-3000: a maize header, a pick-up and a header for grass.

Universal machine MS280 is a powerful start of forage harvesting

The MS280 is a universal self-propelled agricultural machine with an attachment for aggregating with various types of equipment. The manufactured models and modifications of the machine provide you with a wide range of choices: each client can purchase the FS3000 complex in the configuration that suits the existing conditions of forage harvesting in an agricultural organization most of all.

The FS3000, combined with the MS280 machine with two drive axles, ensures forage harvesting in difficult conditions: on heavy soils, in conditions of prolonged rains, during autumn harvesting of waxy ripe corn, works stably even when other machines cannot go into the field. The all-wheel drive version provides increased maneuverability and excellent pulling ability, which allows you to harvest forage effectively in the shortest possible time, minimizing costs.

The combination of the FS3000 with the MS280, equipped with a single drive axle, stands out by simpler design, making it more accessible to the customer. This complex fully justifies itself in conditions of medium and light soils, being equal in quality and stability to the modification with all-wheel drive at the same time.

The MS280 has a frame design. This made it possible to place the following units on the frame: engine, cabin with working parts, rear PTO drive, leading and drive axles, attachment, hydraulic system of the running gear, hydraulic system of the steering and power hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic and electrical equipment.

YaMZ engine

The universal machine MS280 is equipped with a YaMZ engine with a power of 290 h.p., a hydrostatic transmission controlled by a grip, and a three-point hitch. The main advantage of the MS280 is the hydrostatic transmission, which provides efficient operation and smooth, stepless speed control from 0 to 20 km/h. To improve the flotation and controllability of the vehicle, counterweights with a total weight of up to 366 kg are installed in front of the engine and below it.

To drive aggregated implements in a self-propelled machine, a rear power take-off is used. Power is transferred from the engine to the PTO using a switchable multi V-belt transmission, a single-stage gearbox and a cardan transmission. The MS280 stands out by its ability to transmit up to 100% of the power to the working parts of the mounted machines attached to it through the PTO. The powerful attachment makes it possible to raise and lower the mounted units easily and quickly, without wasting time on harvesting, during turning at the field margin and moving to another field.

A big advantage of the MS280 self-propelled machine is the reversibility of the operator's workplace. With simple steps, the steering column and seat of the MS280 can be rotated 180°. This function provides the driver with an optimal view of the rear attachment. The convenience lies in the fact that after rotating the workplace, all control devices remain in the same places. Even when moving a self-propelled machine with the workplace rotated, the control system always remains at hand - no matter in which direction you are moving.

The reversible workplace of the MS280 is absolute comfort in both directions of movement and a complete overview of all units.

Universal cleaning

The KPK-3000 harvester, part of the FS3000 complex, is a semi-mounted device designed for efficient forage harvesting.

The semi-mounted harvester is available in several modifications. A harvester equipped with a corn cracker of active type allows you to effectively grind corn grains in the waxy ripeness phase, and a modification with a device for adding additives further expands its functionality and is ideal for harvesting corn for silage. This allows not only to harvest the crop, but also to simultaneously prepare it for long-term storage. In the case of grass harvesting, the corn cracker must be dismantled to prevent excessive crushing of the crop, which is important for maintaining the quality of the feed.

For work where shredding is not required, a modification without a corn cracker is a more economical choice. Thus, each modification has its own advantages depending on the type of crop being harvested and the requirements for harvest preparation. The choice of the appropriate harvester configuration depends on the specific tasks and operating conditions.

The corn cracker of KPK-3000 forage harvester, designed for processing leaf mass, is a high-tech unit that includes a feeding unit, a silage spout and a radial disc chopping unit. This type of unit provides efficient and high-quality chopping, which is a key factor for subsequent loading into a vehicle. In addition, the presence of a metal detector and a stone detector increases the safety of the equipment operation by preventing solid objects from getting into the mechanism, which can lead to damage. The sensors send signals to the electronic control panel unit located in the cabin, and the system reacts instantly, automatically turning off the drive of the feeding unit rollers, and the mass supply stops. The device for quickly stopping the feeding unit allows you to quickly react to any emergency situations. Thus, the harvester chopper provides not only high quality raw material processing, but also safety, reliability and ease of use.

The inclusion of a drum type maize header, a pick-up and a grass header makes the FS3000 an ideal solution for mowing corn, sorghum, sunflowers and other tall-stalked crops, as well as for harvesting green and dried grasses.

The maize header with a working width of 3.0 meters is capable of harvesting maize of any height and yield, regardless of planting systems and methods. A uniform cut is ensured by a relief copying system and setting the cutting height. Maize stalks are conveyed into the feeding unit with their lower part, which prevents the loss of cobs.

The FS3000 is equipped with pick-ups with a working width of 1.85 or 3.0 meters, which ensure the collection of swaths without losses of cut mass.

The grass header with a system for copying the field relief and the ability to set the cutting height guarantees an equally smooth cut. The overrunning clutch of the reel drive pulley prevents it from being damaged in reverse rotation.

The productivity of the machine during the harvesting of maize of milk-wax ripeness at 90 t/h and during the harvesting of grass at 43 t/h, as well as the working width of the adapters, the setting height of the cutting device confirm its high efficiency and adaptability to various operating conditions.

Additional features

The MS280 universal machine can also be combined with a three-section rotary mower-conditioner KPR-9. In this case, the consumer receives a set of machines that performs four operations: mowing grasses with laying in swaths, collecting dried mass from swaths with chopping for haylage, direct mowing of grasses with chopping for green fodder, harvesting of corn and other crops for silage.

In addition, the universal self-propelled machine is designed for work in combination with mounted draper headers ZhVZ-6UM, ZhVZ-7UM, ZhVZ-9U with a working width of 6.0, 7.0 and 9.2 meters respectively.

Having the MS280 universal machine in your fleet, you can also aggregate it with the KSN-6-3 mounted beet harvester. The KSN-6-3 harvester is designed for cutting tops, digging up beet roots, cleaning them and placing them in a swath to dry out soil residues, followed by picking them up with a PPK-6.

The MS280F modification, equipped with cabin protection, can be used in tandem with a mulching cutter for chopping wood, stumps and shrubs in forestry, energy and agriculture.
