The CH15 mower-shredder is an ideal solution for efficient mowing of green grasses, corn and other silage crops up to 1.2 meters high with simultaneous shredding and loading into vehicles. The CH15 is also great for mowing potato tops.
Lightness and maneuverability
The CH15 is aggregated with tractors of class 1.4 (MTZ 80/82, etc.). The light and maneuverable mower-shredder harvests at least 18 tons of crushed mass in 1 hour of operation ensuring the minimum cost of harvesting grasses for green fodder.
During the moving the plants are fed by the stem tilt after which the rotor knives effectively cut and chop the plant mass. The crushed mass is fed to the blades of the accelerator ensuring a fast and high-quality unloading process.
The mower's rotor has L-shaped knives which ensure minimal damage to plant roots. This increases the yield of the second and subsequent mowing reduces soil contamination of the crushed mass. The hinged attachment of the knives reduces the chance of breakage from stones and other objects.
The accelerator provides additional crushing of the plant mass and a high speed of its transportation which contributes to a good compaction of the crushed mass in the body of vehicles moving side by side or attached to the rear of the mower.
It is possible to use CH15 for harvesting potato tops with the spread of crushed mass on the field. In this case by installing a damper the crushed mass is spread out on the field.
The rotary silage spout ensures optimal loading of the trailer as well as reduces the time required to move the mower from the working position to the transport position. The CH15 mower is certified for compliance with EU requirements with the right to apply CE-marking.
